Monster MvA SX Series: NEW INFO

Postby motoxjeff#7 » Thu Mar 11, 2010 12:12 am

Well since childish acts went on last post, this one will be info only no response needed.

The previous Hamachi network has been deleted, mainly for the reason, more people was on there, that was never online so we just decided to scratch that one. We wanted to start brand new, and keep this series going. New hamachi network is
mvaMONSTER1
race

Your access will be approved as you sign into hamachi.

Also a new Racing format:

NEW FORMAT:

There is going to be a new format for the Monster Energy MvA SX Series by MXG-HQ.com this weekend at RainySX Rd.3 (Toronto 2007). This new format will feature the change in times and the race itself and the whole event. Plus it seems more realistic!

::: SUPERCROSS FORMAT:

Thursday: 3:00 PM EST-8:30 PM EST
At these times is where the qualifying sessions for the Lites and Supercross Class as well as practice will take place. If you want to race at Rainy SX Rd.3 this weekend, you will have 2 hours+intermission+2 hours to run a session.
European:
Practice Session #1= Supercross Lites Class/Timed Qualifying (3:00-5:00 PM EST)
Practice Session #2= Supercross Class/Timed Qualifying (3:00-5:00 PM EST)
American/Aussie:
Practice Session #1= Supercross Lites Class/Timed Qualifying (6:30- 8:30 PM EST)
Practice Session #2= Supercross Class/Timed Qualifying (6:30-8:30 PM EST)

Friday (RACE DAY): 7:30 PM EST-10:30 PM EST (times subject to change)
On Every Friday night for the Remainder of the Monster Energy MvA SX Series, we will be running the races on Friday nights. I think the change of having everything done on one day will help the number of riders participating and it will take up less time consumption on the event so riders can start training or doing stuff in real life.

7:30-8:00 PM EST- Freetime (this allows riders to be able to have enough time to prepare to race and to get in hamachi)
8:00-8:10 PMEST- Supercross Lites Heat #1 (4-6 riders, top 2 make the main, all the rest LCQ)
8:10-8:20 PM EST- Supercross Lites Heat #2 (4-6 riders, top 2 make the main, all the rest LCQ)
8:25-8:35 PM EST- Supercross Heat #1 (4-6 riders, top 2 make the main, all the rest LCQ)
8:35-8:45 PM EST- Supercross Heat #2 (4-6 riders, top 2 make the main, all the rest LCQ)
9:05-9:15 PM EST- Supercross Lites LCQ (top 2 make the main) (NO EXCEPTIONS)
9:15-9:25 PM EST Supercross LCQ (top 2 make the main) (NO EXCEPTIONS)
9:30-10:00 PM EST- Supercross Lites Main
10:00-10:30 PM EST- Supercross Class Main
Enjoy everyone looking forward to continuing the series.

Why not just run everything on Thursdays??? Not enough people show up to do heats usually... and if everyone has to be on Thursday to qualify, we might as well run the races on Thursday. Racing on Friday just makes it less likely for a good turnout because its hard to show up two night in a row due to real life stuff. And Fridays are usually busy days for most people. I think the easiest thing to do would be to race on Thursday nights.

That is what we are aiming at doing. We just hope for a good turn out. So yea good idea, that is what we will end up doing. Actually after I posted this, I was asked to go On a golf trip with some friends, so it will have to be ran tomorrow. see ya at the gates, I was able to drop to a 1.01.65 today. but not anywhere close to consistent.

Lol I was talking about maybe changing it next week.

The race is scheduled for Friday, we should run it as scheduled. Its not fair to change it now just because you can't make it. I want you to race but its too short notice to change.

No it's not, you don't make a damn bit of sense, first you said if everyone is here thursday for the qualies then might as well run it same night, yes or no because I see a post that is, I will be there regardless, because we are not leaving out until saturday so nice try DBK.

P.S next time if your trying to specify something you may wanna make sure you note that. for future reference.

Yea I know. I meant to edit it and add it in but you had already replied. I have to work 7 est to 11est tomorrow so this "short notice" rescheduling has put me in a bad spot. If we cant run the race on friday, maybe its best to reschedule the race for another date? Or maybe run it real early tomorrow?

Tomorrow is qualies, and not making qualies will not allow you to race for the main event. Depending on how many people shows up, or however it goes will base on what we do. First thing is you need to try to make it for the qualies. We have never changed the schedule for the qualies. It has always been on thursday's ,only difference now from then is now if no show, then no go for main event.

As of now race is still going on Friday, no changes.

I will be on at 6:30est for qualies then. It better start on time so I can get a lap in before work lol. And I'm glad that you are leaving the race on Friday as planned, I'm not trying to get screwed out of the points race. (That's not towards you Jeff, just a statement)

I am not trying to screw you out of points either jeff, so dont even think that. I dont try to win championships like that. But i was going to be pissed if you changed the date so you could make it (thus making me miss it because i have work thursday in order to have friday off). All i want is a fair chance to defend my #1 plate, i know you would want the same if you were in my shoes.
