Rev's home is MXG-HQ.com. So that is where it'll stay. :)

^^If you want a game with constant updates get Reflex, plus u can play more ppl because it is for the systems and not pc.

Or just go outside. Thats always my favortie choice.

Reflex may have some good points, but the bad points outway the good in alot of ways. The multiplayer side has one stratigy.... knock your competition off the track and you win. There is absolutly no show of real skill... so far ive won 2 races online... out of maybe 80. Is it becuase i suck? no.... i can carve my way forward with little effort... and consistantly place in the top 3 even after ive been knocked around for a lap or two. Its because in those 2 races where i actually won i got the holeshot and was UNTOUCHED for 5 laps.... Other holeshots have resulted in a small mistake or bad line choice on my part letting someone catch me and after that i pretty much was rammed and landed on untill i was maybe 5th. At first i thought those players were just having a hard time with the reflex controls... but after ive been playing online for a month or so now ive noticed that they "criscross" the track to prevent a rider from passing them when they know someone is about to make the pass. All of my passs ar clean and i generally try to stay out of the main line when passing.. but it never fails as soon as i do get a wheel in the assholes always pull to the side im on for a collision.

The reflex community has already asked Rainbow for the ability to disable player collision like back in the MCM2 days but we will have to wait and see if they listen. This "crash-up" derby is and has ruined the multiplayer part of the game for me.. i rather play single player which also sucks due to lack of a points series.

And while they have released track packs... they have yet to actually update the game to adress the online game crashing problems and game freezes. Chargeing people for new tracks is why we will NEVER see another motocross game from rainbow come to PC with a track editor. I suspect this was also the reason they kicked us PC uses to the curb.... they know they cant squeeze every penny possible out of us with new tracks becuase someone will find a way too build thier own even without a track editor.

I agree, there is a link on the site for these fourms so you can get REV. But if things ever did change, I would have no problem with a download link on mVaManiacs for REV.

how bout u get it out there and get some publicity and get more people looking at ur game and coming to the forums to douwload it

if u keep it in the listtle forum its not gonna go anywhere

i suggest you guys get the game out on a ton of websites, so you can get more people and more dontations so this game can go farther

WOW you wasted time on a pointless yet, Stupid comment . there are copyright issues REV team deals with. How? The REV team can't just say hey Racerx here is this let's get more people. OR Let's Just distribute this expantion Pak like it is BEER. Actually REV is against laws of copyrights, because it is modded from the original copy. this is why it is not being released anywhere , and everwhere.

As for the MVAmaniacs.com, I am sorry it is a nice site, and great idea, and good for the community however think about it. I look on the site right now, and see maybe 12 or so tracks ( didn't really count em ). how is that much activity going to make REV and this community BOOM. it won't.

As for the donations comments, that gave me a huge chuckle
by Cookie » Tue Jan 05, 2010 6:10 pm

thats ausome that people are donating money

maybe ill donate some soon

This post from you on the donation's list thread. What happened to your donation. 3000 plus DLOADS, from this very community and 12 or so donations give me a break cookie, that little comment was very contradicting. Nothing is going to make this game become mainstream again. I think it is time to just let this game die down, I still play on a very regular basis, BUT it looks like this game has faced a DEAD END.

Smart ass.

On the day REV was released it was announced on various major motocross forums such as RonRon MX, Vital MX, Thumpertalk, etc, etc. More than enough publicity from that.

So next time you think you have a bright moment and think you can make comments that rate our decision as a team to be gay, at least get your facts straight.

John,

I understand why you are upset for not receiving much for such a great project. I personally would have made it $5 for everyone. $5 is nothing for how much you guys did, not totally sure whether that is legal or not, but if it is legal you should have had eveyone pay $5, which is next to nothing, even in this economy.

I will give you some advice, and please take me seriously. I have played 90-95% of the motocross games that have come out. I have played games on Nintendo, N64, PS, PS2, XBOX, 360, PC, etc. etc. and this is the BEST game I have ever played. I recommend trying to create a game for the consules, and I realize that that would cost a lot of money, but where there is a will there is a way.

I look at this forum and even now with it not as numerous there is SO much talent. Skins, Tracks, Videos, physics, REV, objects, everything. That is the reason I was drawn to this place, not only are the best riders here, the best talent in creating whatever is here. I looked at Jeffs video of Indy '10, AMAZING! Even though Jeff and I dont always get along I will admit that is very good, and Jeff is getting super talented at making videos.IF you got a group of the best guys from this forum and could work together to make a game from scratch you would make it BIG. MVA has gone downhill since Unleashed, and the mx community NEEDS a good mx game. What Im saying is though it would be hard, I KNOW you guys could make it.

I wish I had the knowledge to do the stuff you guys do, and Im certainly willing to learn, as much as my time allows. If I owned rainbow, thq, whatever I would hire some of you without thinking twice about it. thats how much I believe in you guys and that is how much talent I see in some of you.

I agree compleetly and think that updates should be $5 or somthing similer because think if you made rev a small amount of money say 10$ to start with i garrenty at leest 500 or more peopl would still of got it and strait up thers $5000 so if you want to make money there is a BIG way to do it just my opinion plees dont bite my head of if ive made any mistakes
